Diamond Splits

 

Change the role center to EJEWELLERY PROCESSOR

To fill the minimum required fields, follow the steps:

1.    On Navigation Pane, Click eJewelry -> Diamond Splits.

2.    Diamond Split Header card will open.

3.    Document No.: Press ENTER to automatically fill in the next number of the default number series for Document No.

4.    In Parent Item field, select DFS040.

5.    In Location Code field, select House.

6.    Notice that values in Pieces on hand, weight on Hand & Total cost field will be updates automatically.

7.    Enter values for diamond splits.

  • In No. of pieces to split field, enter 20.
  • In Item to split field, enter 2.
  • In total weight to split field, enter 1.
  • Notice that “Avg. weight per piece” is updated automatically.

 

 

 

8.    Click Split Items (Actions -> Split -> Split Items), this will create lines for output items.

 

 

9.    In Item No. Column. You can either select existing Item or Leave it blank to generate a new item code.

10.    Click Actions -> Splits -> Generate Items. This will generate item No for split items.

 

 

 

 

 

11.    Move on 1st line of Diamond split sub form.

  • In pieces field, enter 10.
  • In Avg. weight field, enter 0.05.
  • In Unit cost field, enter 1500.

 

12.    Move on 2nd line of Diamond split sub form.

  • In pieces field, enter 10.
  • In Avg. weight field, enter 0.05.
  • In Unit cost field, enter 1000.

Note that balance status of pieces, weight, Cost should be equivalent to 0.

 

 

 

 

13.    In line define the characteristic attributes of the new items such as Description, Shape, color, griddle etc. [Optional]

14.    Click on Actions -> Split -> Create Items.

 

 

 

15.    The Message box will appear. Click OK.

 

 

16.    Notice that in “Diamond Splits Sub Form” lines item created field is Now Checked.

 

 

 

17.    Click on Item Card to see Item details of the item & item ledger to see the details of item split.

 

 

 

 

 

18.    Click Actions -> Post -> Test Report, to Print diamond splits report.

 

 

 

19.    To Post diamond split, Click Actions -> Post -> Post.

20.    Notice that DSP00015, is now closed, it is removed from diamond splits list.

21.     To view posted diamond split DSP00015, Go to “Posted diamond Splits”.
