Create an item journal for positive adjustment of item DN001, Diamond Graduated Bezel 16" Collar Necklace 

1.    On the navigation pane click “Item Journal”.

2.    Click New.

3.    Item Journal template list will appear, Select “Item”.

4.    Select default item Journal.

5.    Move on 1^st line, in entry type select “Positive adjustment”.

6.    In the document No field, enter S-002

7.    In item no. field select DL001, Diamond Graduated Bezel 16" Collar Necklace.

8.    In pieces column, enter “2”.

9.    To print the document, click Actions -> Print.

10.    To post the journal, click on Process -> Post.

11.    The confirmation message will appear will appear, click ok.

12.    Item journal is now successfully posted. 

13.    To check the positive adjustment, view item ledger entries.

 Create an item journal for Negative adjustment of item JWB00002.

1.    On the navigation pane click “Item Journal”.

2.    Click New.

3.    Select default item Journal.

4.    Move on 1^st line, in entry type select “Negative adjustment”.

5.    In the Document No field, enter NA-001.

6.    In item no. field select JWB00002, High Quality Brown Necklace Box.

7.    In pieces column, enter “2”.

8.    To print the document, click Actions -> Print.

9.    To post the journal, click on Process -> Post.

10.    The confirmation message will appear will appear, click ok.

11.    Item journal is now successfully posted. 

12.    To check if adjustment is posted correctly, go to item ledger entries.
